Preparing for launch

Preparing for launch

Transfer expertise. Distribution and operations built around AI.

About2Travel pairs an experienced travel and transfer team with a new way to reach travellers and serve them efficiently. We start with airport transfers, then grow into the whole trip.

Our technology is in design and development. We are talking to selected launch supply and distribution partners now.

The opportunity

A new route to the travel customer

Established transfer expertise meets AI-powered distribution.

We handle checkout and the customer relationship, not just a referral link.

A referral link hands the traveller to someone else. About2Travel is designed to keep the booking, the payment and the service in one place, which is what makes a whole-trip basket possible.

  1. Start with airport transfers

A product our team knows well, backed by established supplier relationships.

  2. Use agentic price comparison

AI agents find and compare relevant options across direct suppliers, aggregators and supported market sources.

  3. Take the customer’s payment through About2Travel

The traveller checks out with us, so the booking, the payment and the relationship stay in one place.

  4. Grow a basket of travel extras

Parking, lounges, fast track and experiences can be added around the same trip as the range expands.

Who we work with

Two kinds of partner, one shared traveller

Suppliers bring the product. Distribution partners bring the traveller. About2Travel is designed to bring them together while the trip is being planned.

Supply partners

Airport transfer operators first. Parking, lounge, fast track and experience providers as the range grows.

  • Access to additional demand from travellers who are already booking a trip
  • Your offer compared like for like on total price, capacity, luggage and cancellation terms
  • Automated booking planned, returning confirmations and vouchers without routine rekeying
  • Supplier reconciliation planned, matching bookings and changes with invoices and payments
  • Basket savings on agreed terms, funded through supplier support and shared margin

Distribution partners

Businesses that reach travellers and want to offer them relevant transfers and extras.

  • Relevant extras for your existing travel customers
  • Offers presented at the moment of intent, using only permitted trip details
  • About2Travel handles checkout, payment, confirmations and customer service
  • A basket that can grow with the product range over time

For travellers, the aim is wider choice and savings across a basket. Partnership terms are agreed individually.

How it works · Piggyback marketing

Reach customers where they are already shopping for travel

An opt-in browser tool is designed to recognise a trip being booked and offer what the traveller needs next, without asking them to start again.

  1. 1

    Customer opts in

Chooses to install and activate our browser tool.

  2. 2

    Trip recognised

Uses permitted trip details on supported travel websites.

  3. 3

    Timely offer

Presents relevant transfers and extras at the moment of intent.

  4. 4

    Straight to checkout

Enters About2Travel checkout without re-entering the trip.

Why it matters

We build on existing travel shopping activity rather than creating demand from scratch.

Reach still depends on travellers choosing to install the tool and on distribution partners helping us put it in front of them.

Concept example: a customer booking on a site such as Booking.com. Named only to illustrate the idea; no affiliation, partnership or endorsement is implied. The browser tool is in design and not yet available.

Agentic price comparison

Our ambition: make every relevant marketplace offer discoverable

AI agents are software that actively find, compare and progress tasks, rather than simply listing results. We are designing them to search widely and compare fairly, so travellers can choose with confidence.

  • Aggregator feeds

About2Travel retains the customer relationship

Availability is rechecked before the customer pays.

Discoverable is not the same as bookable: bookable coverage depends on supplier access and fulfilment arrangements. The comparison capability is proposed and in design, with a wide marketplace as the long-term ambition.

Operations

AI at the core of operations

A proposed operating model designed to grow bookings without matching growth in overhead: straight-through processing, with people handling exceptions.

An operations and finance team working together in a modern office

Three major proposed automations

  1. Automated booking

Carries customer and trip data through supplier and back-office systems, returns confirmations and vouchers, and removes routine rekeying.

  2. Automated yield management

Adjusts prices, margin and basket discounts against demand, supplier costs and conversion, within approved minimum margins.

  3. Supplier financial reconciliation

Matches bookings, changes and cancellations with invoices and payment records, flagging discrepancies for review.

Three further cost reductions

  1. Supplier product loading

Extracts and validates rates, routes, capacities and terms from contracts and feeds, flagging gaps before publication.

  2. Multilingual customer service

Handles routine multilingual enquiries, vouchers and permitted booking changes, escalating complex or urgent cases to people.

  3. Disruption monitoring

Detects flight changes and missing confirmations, then coordinates permitted pickup updates and customer messages.

Ambition

Build towards the lowest cost per booking in the sector.

An ambition we intend to measure, not a current claim.

Proposed measures

  • Cost per booking
  • Bookings per employee
  • Zero-touch booking rate
  • Error rate

These automations are proposed and in design. Targets are to be set; no performance data is claimed.

The whole trip

Transfers open the door to the whole trip

A transfer purchase tells us the trip dates, destination and party needs. The customer pays About2Travel and can add extras straight away or return before departure.

Roadmap

MVP
